After growing disenchanted with traditional collegiate life, I decided to make my own way by enrolling in the United States Air Force to become a Survival instructor. During my training was the first time I was introduced to leather working, making my first axe cover and a metal file sheath. Although I loved the experience of it, I never got the chance to delve into it until after I was medically retired from the military. In early 2018 I was taken to a Tandy Leather for an instructional class on leatherwork and instantly my passion was reignited. I purchased a beginners kit and haven't looked back since. I strive to bring the best quality leather, with superb craftsmanship and unique designs with every piece that I make.
